Blog Do’s and Don’ts

DO’S:

  1. DO visit Mrs. Vespe’s blog often to check for updates and keep track of assignments. PLEASE NOTE THAT ASSIGNMENTS ARE LISTED FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK ON MONDAY. This means that students will receive instruction on the assignments in class on the day that they are assigned. Also, this means that the assignments are subject to change, depending on how the week’s lessons progress.
  2. DO leave comments after you’ve read a post and/or other comments or when directed to do so for an assignment.
  3. DO use the blog to communicate with your classmates and/or teacher.
  4. DO only write appropriate comments which you would be comfortable with your classmates and teachers reading.
  5. DO edit your posts so that they are grammatically correct and use proper English.

DONT’S:

  1. DON’T use your full name in a comment. Please stick to initials and period only for safety. (Example: John Doe from period 4: “JD4″)
  2. DON’T write a comment until you have read all of the other comments. You should not be redundantly redundant.
  3. DON’T use the blog for any other purpose besides school.
  4. DON’T write anything inappropriate, objectionable, slanderous, or hurtful. It is fine to disagree with a comment, but you MUST do so in an appropriate way.

Any violation of the aforementioned code of conduct on this blog will result in the student forfeiting his/her use of the blog and may also result in other disciplinary actions.

Remember: This blog is designed for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. All communication is moderated by Mrs. Vespe prior to posting. Consequently, entries made by students will not immediately be uploaded onto the blog. Please be patient!
